Database processing and storage

Cv as You Are stores the CVs you create or import in its application database to provide editing, exporting, import and portfolio features. If you create a CV on Cv as You Are or upload a Cv as You Are CV again, the platform can read and process the full CV content because this is required to provide the service.

Deletion of CV data

When you delete a CV from Cv as You Are, the CV record and the related CV sections stored by the application are removed from the main application database. Technical or audit records that do not contain the full CV content may remain only for security, quota tracking or operational reasons until their retention period expires.

Artificial Intelligence Processing

Cv as You Are offers optional AI features powered by Mistral. These features are activated only when you choose to use them.

PDF parsing fallback with Mistral

If a PDF does not contain embedded CV XML, you may explicitly confirm that the document content is sent to Mistral for parsing. This may include personal data contained in the CV. This fallback is limited to one use per week per user.

Other AI features

For translation, CV improvement and job-posting tailoring, Cv as You Are sends CV content to Mistral after masking direct identifying data such as name, surname, email, phone number, address, references and images. Professional content such as work experience, education, skills and summary may still be processed to provide the requested result.
